One of the most impressive effects is laser or video-projection on a water screen or curtain. Refraction of light on water surface and dispersion и рассеяние make up a unique, seemingly live effect with coherent laser radiation and a very beautiful airy picture with video-projection.

We bring to your attention two types of water projections: a water curtain for indoors (however, it can be used outdoors as well) and a fan water screen for outdoor usage. Both products are designed by German company ARCTOS Lasertechnik.

The principal difference between them is that a water curtain is is a dense stream of rain falling down, while fan water screen is a semicircular fan of thin water film pulverizated from the ground into the air by a special sprayer.

Water curtain

This is the most spread type of water screens because it has variable length of 3 to 18 meters and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The work principle is as follows: a basin is filled with water. A submergible pump is put into it, the pump being connected with collector and further to a system of sprayers set up at the height of up to 12 meters. After turning on, the water is fed to the collector and, with the help of sprayers, a 3-layered dense rain flat stream is formed, it falls into the basin. This way the water circulates. The control is very quick, i.e. the screen can appear and disappear back very suddenly - this fact is very convenient for any show.
